Lol Keegan is a professional photographer based in London. He specialises in still photography for advertising agencies and uk publications. He required a simple gallery website to showcase his work to potential clients.
We decided to create a pure image gallery with little or no text because most of the site’s visitors would arrive via his agent. There was no need for search engine optimisation.
His main audience were busy art directors with little time to work out the site’s navigation or click on fiddly links. Immediacy was key. There shouldn’t be any lag between clicking thumbnails and viewing their relative larger image: no extra windows, no scrolling and no special effects.
The result was a succinct site that gave visitors the content they sought instantly.
